Vashon Photographer: A Look Back At 2013

Well, I have been a bad girl, and haven't blogged in quite some time. To be honest, my busy season had me the busiest yet, and those small slivers of free time in between jobs, I wanted off my computer, and to spend it with my family. So, I let go of my blogging, and I miss it. I miss that outlet of thoughts, images, and sharing.

It is now 12 0' clock AM, and I really should/want to be in bed, however,it is now officially the very last day of 2013, and I feel compelled to take a peek back at the images that have captured my heart in 2013. I can't post all of my favorites, but I can run through some snippets of the last year, and feel oh-so-grateful to the folks that have allowed me the privilege of doing the honor of creating these images to capture these very real moments of their lives. I have met so many new and awesome clients and their extended families.They feel like friends now, and I adore them all. I have worked some editorial fashion shoots, and loved everything about it. I photographed an album cover for a very talented Island artist, opened a new door into the wonderful world of custom website photography, and continued working with my beloved Carpe Diem Primary School, and picked up a new client that I have had sooo much fun with, The Harbor School. Weddings, weddings, weddings, too, and lots of family sessions, and at the end of the year hosted "A Winter's Dream", a photo shoot devoted entirely to raise funds to send to charity. It has been a full, and exciting year, 2013. Every year in this business, I start the year not knowing what is coming next, and each year surprises me more and more. What will come to be in 2014? It is there, just a day away, knocking on the door.
